We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Per Diem Speech Pathologist to join our team at Amedisys.

Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60.00 to $75.00 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated speech pathologist to work with patients in their homes, providing much-needed care and making a meaningful impact on their lives.

  • Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
  • Aural Rehabilitation: They will provide rehabilitation services for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and assist with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the state they are assigned to work in, a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), and current CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications: One or more years of experience in speech pathology is preferred but not required.
