Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Long-Term Care team at SSM Health. As a skilled nursing care professional, you will provide high-quality patient care to residents while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments according to established care plans and standards of care
- Provide guidance and direction to ancillary staff members
- Maintain accurate inventory of medications and ensure proper distribution
- Monitor residents for medication side effects and report significant changes to physicians
- Participate in report meetings and communicate with residents, guardians, and family members
- Ensure quality end-of-life care and respond promptly to alarms
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education
- No experience required, but previous experience in long-term care is preferred
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin
