Job Summary

This role involves working under the guidance of the Route Supervisor to accurately pull and pack products for route shipment to customers. The position also requires loading trucks, organizing pick tickets, want lists, and other paperwork for delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pull products from shelves accurately
  • Apply RX labels to applicable products to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Scan and package products to be shipped to customers
  • Stage customer orders on pallets for delivery
  • Wrap pallets by hand and using the wrapping machine
  • Load trucks using pallet jack and drum cart
  • Organize pick tickets, want lists, and other paperwork for delivery
LEAN Processes
  • Dusting, sweeping, organizing boxes, rotating ice packs, and filling chest freezer
Qualification Requirements
  • High school diploma with courses in math and computer operations
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pick tickets
  • Ability to write business correspondence via email
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time; bend/squat, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects; reach above shoulders; talk and hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds up to waist level with assistance.

The employee must be able to move up to 700 pounds with a barrel cart.

The employee must be able to maneuver a manual or motorized pallet jack with a pallet of product weighing up to 2600 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distant vision.
