Richmond, California, United States EarthGrid PBC Full time

About EarthGrid

EarthGrid, a public benefit corporation, is tackling the biggest problems in infrastructure: fiber, power, and water. We're utilizing cutting-edge plasma technology to bore an underground tunnel network, increasing electricity transmission while enabling the development of more clean power, and more fiber, including in underserved communities. This enables rapid movement of goods & freight all underground.

Our plasma tech is 100x faster and 10x cheaper than traditional boring technology. We intend to become the largest owner of underground real estate in the world. Our mission is to advance decarbonization through technologies that don't utilize fossil fuels, ideally run on solar/wind power, using little to no water and no chemicals, lubricants, or drilling mud in the process, keeping our groundwater free of toxic contaminants.
