Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Role:

  • Prepare and cook meals under the guidance of our Kitchen Manager, following standardized recipes and portion controls;
  • Maintain impeccable food safety, sanitation, and temperature controls to ensure the highest quality of our products;
  • Assist with clean-up, storage, and record-keeping tasks as directed;
  • Perform general utility duties as assigned;
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items and recipes;
  • Pack and portion food products accurately and efficiently;
  • Collaborate with our Pack and Sanitation staff to achieve shared goals;
  • Participate in company training programs, including HACCP, GMP requirements, and ServSafe certification;
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

  • Cooking experience, preferably in an institutional setting;
  • Operational knowledge of meat slicers, steam kettles, convection ovens, warmers, and pallet jacks;
  • Able to follow written recipes and cooking/packaging instructions;
  • Able to meet Employer's Attendance Standard (3AM-11:50AM);
  • Able to Portion and Pack to Accurate Quantities/Counts;
  • Provide support to Pack and Sanitation staff.
