As a CarMax Detailing Specialist - Vehicle Preparation, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles are thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and prepared for sale. This is a critical role in our business, as it directly impacts the quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly clean and inspect each vehicle to ensure it meets our high standards
  • Perform cosmetic reconditioning tasks, including paint touch-up, wet sanding, and buffing
  • Identify defects and recommend repairs to maintain our vehicles' appearance and value
  • Work efficiently in a team environment to meet production targets
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a detailing or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
