Veterinary Medicine Specialist

About the Role:
In this position, you will be working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in our Internal Medicine Team at Clarksville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty. As part of our team, your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a positive hospital culture, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for assisting veterinarians during medical procedures, taking vital signs, administering medications, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, diagnoses, and test results.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with veterinarians.
- Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of veterinary knowledge, including disease processes, pharmacology, diagnostic imaging, and laboratory equipment and procedures.
You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician, preferably in an internal medicine specialty. A valid LVMT, CVT, LVT, or RVT license is required, and you must obtain Tennessee licensure within 90 days of start date.
Benefits Package:
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
