Banquet Bartender

Job Summary:

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our Banquets team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to internal and external guests while maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver impeccable service to guests while complying with Nemacolin brand standards
• Study and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and execute tasks assigned to you in an efficient, safe, and cost-effective manner
• Stay up-to-date on recent trends in the hotel F&B industry and maintain your bar skills through regular pour checks
• Keep the work area immaculate and utilize your excellent communication skills with both internal and external guests
• Participate in training new associates and suggest improvements and ideas to management

Requirements:

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to walk up to 8 hours at a time and to bend
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to speak the English language fluently
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Must be computer literate and have skills in handling touchscreen POS terminals
• Must have good sense of financial responsibility
• Must be able to handle high-pressure situations
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Must possess strong organizational skills
• Must be able to demonstrate strong liquor, beer, and wine knowledge and bartending skills
• Must be and remain RAMP certified
• Must be able to cross-train in Banquet Serving or other hotel outlet's Front of House roles
• Must possess a driver's license
