Job Description

This full-time position involves providing technical support to healthcare professionals, participating in patient care activities under the supervision of physicians/APNs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow. The incumbent will also assist with administrative duties related to family planning grants, maintain inventory of examination/procedure room supplies, and organize the clinic environment to guarantee patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in patient care activities under the direct supervision of physicians/APNs and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Assure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operation in close partnership with the healthcare and management teams.
  • Participate in staff meetings by providing constructive input and facilitating problem solving.
  • Schedule patient appointments, including outside physicians and hospital/ancillary services.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by a recognized agency.
  • Current certification from reputable boards, such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • Phlebotomist certification and CPR certification.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office components, particularly Excel.
