Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Surgical Center team in West Hatfield, Massachusetts.

As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Surgical Center, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients and their families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
- Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required
- BLS certification required
- Previous inpatient surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
- EPIC knowledge preferred
- Strong patient-centered approach with emphasis on providing exemplary customer service
- Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive; a team player who knows how to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment
