As a skilled nursing facility speech-language pathologist, you'll play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured or disabled regain independence and quality of life.



Job Description

Working in a skilled nursing facility, you'll review medical histories, develop and implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, monitor patient progress and more.



Responsibilities


  • Review medical histories and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans
  • Implement speech therapy treatment plans, recommend equipment, and monitor patient progress
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide high-quality speech therapy services to patients with a range of speech and language disorders


Requirements


  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a speech language pathologist in a skilled nursing facility
  • Degree in relevant field
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Applicants must have at least 1-2 years of POST CLINICAL work experience.
