**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instructor to join our team at the State of South Carolina. As a Medical Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in a clinical setting, developing and implementing curriculum, and evaluating student performance.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and teach courses in medical assisting, including hands-on and theoretical instruction
  • Manage classroom and clinical settings, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment
  • Develop and maintain current course syllabi and lesson plans
  • Recommend instructional materials and equipment for courses
  • Supervise students in clinical settings

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma from an accredited school
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Associate degree and/or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • AMA certification by numerous professional organizations preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clerical experience in a hospital or physician office preferred
