MDS Coordinator Role at Caraday Healthcare

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to join our team at Caraday Healthcare. This role will be responsible for coordinating the RAI process, ensuring timely and complete documentation, and facilitating accurate determination of Assessment Reference Dates.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the RAI process, ensuring timely and complete documentation
  • Facilitate accurate determination of Assessment Reference Dates
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and certification guidelines
  • Participate in regulatory or certification survey processes and correct deficiencies
  • Report trends from completed audits to the Quality Assurance Committee
  • Collect data for each resident and interview staff and residents as necessary
  • Provide interdisciplinary schedules for MDS assessments and care plans
Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • CPR certification required within 30 days
  • Excellent knowledge of RAI Process, Medicare PPS process, and Medicaid reimbursement
  • Thorough understanding of Quality Indicator process
  • Knowledge of OBRA regulations and Minimum Data Set
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years nursing experience in long-term care/skilled nursing
Compensation:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
