Anesthesiologist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our team at Mary Washington Healthcare. As a member of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to work with top-of-the-line surgeons and care teams, providing comprehensive anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions.

• Preoperative Assessment:
  • Evaluate patients' medical histories and conduct physical examinations to ensure informed consent.
  • Discuss anesthesia options and risks with patients, ensuring they are fully aware of the procedures.
• Anesthesia Administration:
  • Administer appropriate anesthesia tailored to individual cases, utilizing advanced monitoring techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to provide seamless care during operations.
• Intraoperative Monitoring:
  • Continuously monitor vital signs and anesthesia depth, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to provide seamless care during operations.
• Postoperative Care:
  • Manage patient recovery in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), addressing any complications and providing follow-up care as needed.
  • Ensure accurate records of anesthesia care and patient interactions.
• Education and Training:
  • Mentor and supervise anesthesia residents and medical students, providing guidance and support in their development.
  • Participate in continuing education to remain current in the field, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques.
