Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide family-centered, high-quality care to critically ill patients ranging from infancy through young adulthood.
Responsibilities:
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests
- Prescribe pharmacologic agents and treatments in a cost-efficient manner
- Work autonomously and in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage client health care problems
- Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
Requirements:
- Masters of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited graduate school of nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
