NICU RN PRN

Job Summary:
AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team on a per diem basis. As a NICU RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our critically ill newborns.
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide well-coordinated patient care, prioritizing the needs of our patients and families.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred or currently enrolled in BSN program.
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Illinois Board of Nursing required.
- Minimum 1-year NICU experience strongly preferred.
