Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will assist in the direction of nursing services for our unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your duties will include delegating tasks to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, observing patients for symptoms and reactions, and implementing changes in orders as instructed by physicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit, in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
  • Delegate tasks to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel.
  • Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including general physical and mental condition.
  • Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
