Account Manager Job Description

At ECI Software Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities for additional software and services by staying in routine contact with our customer base via phone, online meetings, and email.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the software or technology industry. Experience selling to manufacturing customers and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with clients, are essential for this role.

The Account Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing a strong understanding of ECI products and services, and communicating the value to the customer base effectively.
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with existing customers within their customer base.
  • Conducting outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings to engage with customers, understand their business needs, and present our software solutions effectively.
  • Collaborating closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and drive the sales process from initial contact to closure.
  • Leveraging a consultative selling approach to articulate the value proposition of our manufacturing software products and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Managing the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, negotiation, and contract closure, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and serving as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and inquiries.
  • Having a strong working relationship with customers to increase references, keep customers on maintenance and support contracts, and help mitigate Churn.
  • Consistently logging and recording each-and-every outreach made, in Salesforce, producing regular activity reports.
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quota goals in accordance with the strategic plan.
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly quality communication goals in accordance with the strategic plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the software or technology industry.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable.
