Job Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and developing new business opportunities within the semiconductor cleaning chemicals market. This role requires a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the role of cleaning chemicals in the production process.

As a Key Account Growth Specialist, you will build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including semiconductor manufacturers, equipment suppliers, and end-users. You will analyze industry trends and market needs to position the company's products effectively, creating tailored solutions for customers.

You will work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align go-to-market strategies with customer demands. Your goal is to develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration.

This role involves driving the entire sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal development, to closing deals. You will negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will also monitor competitive activity and industry trends, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Additionally, you will manage and grow key customer accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

As a Key Account Growth Specialist, you will provide technical and application expertise related to semiconductor cleaning chemicals to support clients in making informed purchasing decisions. You will coordinate with technical support and customer service teams to ensure timely product delivery and resolution of any client issues.

You will work closely with product management and R&D teams to provide customer feedback, ensuring that products meet market and customer needs. You will collaborate with regional sales teams to support business development efforts and share insights from client interactions.

You will represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to network and stay updated on industry developments. You will provide regular reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market trends to senior leadership.

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus. You will have proven experience (5+ years) in business development or sales in the semiconductor, chemicals, or a related technical field.

A strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the role of cleaning chemicals in the production process is essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, are also required. You must have demonstrated ability to drive new business and achieve sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sales forecasting tools is a plus. Willingness to travel (as needed) across the Northeast to meet with clients, attend industry events, or support business development efforts is also necessary.
