Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Telecommunications Field Technician to join our team at Ansco & Associates, LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications construction and maintenance, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job:

This is a full-time position that involves performing tasks associated with installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling. The successful candidate will be responsible for hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools, climbing into and out of equipment, operating or working around heavy equipment and machinery, and maintaining visual and audible contact with other crew members and moving objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform tasks associated with installation and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling
  • Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools
  • Climb into and out of equipment
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crew members and moving objects
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Prior experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
  • Currently hold a valid driver's license
  • Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools safely
  • Ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe working habits
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
  • Will to work overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies, or on-call
Benefits:

Our company offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
