We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Travel LPN. This opportunity allows an LPN to travel locally by working in various Good Samaritan Society locations within a 150-mile radius from home, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and provide the care needed. They will also ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents, contributing to the assessment of residents and administering medications or treatments as ordered.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population-specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the residents as per care plan.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a salary range of $24.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a graduate degree in practical nursing from an accredited program.
  • Hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the state nursing board.
  • Obtain and subsequently maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
  • Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
