We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography, MR, and diagnostic scans, as well as maintaining patient records and files.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and explain routine procedures to patients
- Perform procedures to ensure quality patient care in accordance with Radiologist's expectations and protocols
- Support and report any identified compliance matters
- Participate in hospital and department quality assurance programs to ensure safety and satisfaction
- Maintain professional development and education for technical competency
- Use standard precautions and PPE at all times
- Maintain regulatory compliance and licensure for current position
- Attend all required educational programs and utilize resources efficiently
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Possess and maintain certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in 2 Pathways not including Radiography (R)
- State of Kentucky License required
- BLS upon hire
