Computed Tomography Technologist

We are currently seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist at Equiliem, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex CT procedures, using professional judgment when reviewing and obtaining patient clinical history
- Prepare patients for scanning, including shielding, immobilization devices, and determining appropriate type and dose of contrast media
- Administer contrast media as prescribed by licensed practitioners and review patient prescriptions to verify appropriateness of exams
- Communicate with physicians, radiologists, and referring physicians to clarify prescriptions and obtain additional information or new prescriptions
- Evaluate radiographs using PACS System to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, radiological positioning of the human body, and mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware. You should also be knowledgeable about PACS systems and maintain CEU credits.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program and NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
- ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required; ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire date

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience and location. This figure includes an estimated annual salary range for the position, reflecting industry standards and geographic factors.
