We are seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy, a leading provider of comprehensive outpatient physical therapy services. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their full potential and regain functional independence.


About the Role:
  • As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing effective interventions to promote recovery and healing.
  • You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Our ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical decision-making skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities, identify areas of need, and develop tailored treatment plans to address these deficits.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and adaptive equipment training, to enhance patient function and mobility.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on proper techniques, safety measures, and home exercise programs.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate preferred.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) certification necessary.
  • At least one year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of EMR software and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
