Mental Health Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Grace Medical Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide behavioral health treatment to patients seeking services for mental health symptoms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose patients to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to address clinical, social, and behavioral issues
  • Crisis intervention and stabilization during scheduled PHP visits and acute episodes
  • Collaborate with the patient's psychiatrist, nurses, and supervisors to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related mental health field
  • Active and valid Maryland licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor - LGPC or Licensed Master Social Worker - LMSW
  • Knowledge of DSM 5 nomenclature, psychotherapy, psychodynamics, and therapeutic techniques
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, beginning leadership skills
  • Ability to plan and organize time and tasks, maintain composure under stress
