Tech Support Role Overview

Ampcus is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical assistance to internal customers and various technical support teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, with a focus on PowerShell experience, and will be expected to interface with clients via phone, email, chat, and in-person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 2/3 desktop support to internal customers
  • Interface with technical support teams and clients
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Coordinate returns and exchanges with OEM tech support
  • Manage inventory and logistical support
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of overall IT experience
  • 5 years of experience providing general desktop support
  • Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating system installation and support
  • Common applications support, such as Microsoft O365
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A+, MCDST, MTA, MOS, or similar certification
  • Experience with Service Now and AirWatch/Intune
  • BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
