Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco overlooks Yerba Buena Gardens and is located just steps away from the financial district, Union Square shopping, the Moscone Convention Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum, amid the city's finest cultural and dining venues.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Regular Banquet House Attendant. This is a union, non-management position. The Banquet House Attendant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Banquets department is involved from planning, set-up and execution to the breakdown of the room so events happen again the next day - or even the next hour.

The Banquet House Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events. Key responsibilities include setting up, breaking down, and cleaning tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. Stocking linen, china, silver, and glassware and supplies for service while ensuring they are in good condition is also a critical task.

Maintaining cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans is another vital responsibility. Retrieving meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel's receiving area and storing them safely and securely is also an essential duty.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidates must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • They should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Service Passion is a must.
  • A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
