We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in New York. This is a lucrative opportunity for an experienced sales professional who can develop strategic relationships with clients and drive business growth.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and developing innovative solutions to meet their insurance and financial needs.

Your primary goal will be to exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's overall revenue growth. To achieve this, you will need to possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong understanding of the insurance industry and its trends.

You will be working closely with our cross-functional teams to identify potential clients, assess their risk profiles, and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs. Your ability to engage with clients, understand their priorities, and provide value-added services will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, NEGOTIATION, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
  • Assess clients' risk profiles and develop tailored solutions to meet their insurance and financial needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide expert advice to clients
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Proven track record in sales, with a history of exceeding targets and contributing to business growth
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; industry-specific knowledge and certifications a plus

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
