We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Lesson Instructor to join our team at Desoto Athletic Club. As a Swim Lesson Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to members of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver swimming lessons to members of all ages and skill levels
• Implement swimming and water safety instructional programs
• Prepare and deliver technical guidance, age-appropriate and skill-focused lessons based upon participant abilities
• Provide aquatic safety and supervision for members
• Work collaboratively with participants and aquatics staff to ensure a positive learning environment
• Inspect and maintain swimming and pool equipment for functionality

Requirements:

• Must be 16 years old of age
• Prior swim lesson instructor experience (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid Certification (we can provide)
• The ability to communicate well in person and on the phone
• Light lifting (up to 30-50 lbs.)
• Prolonged standing in water
