We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join our team at The Advance Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers to resolve outstanding balances
  • Prepare and send customer statements and invoices in a timely manner
  • Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Apply customer payments and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with salespeople and project coordinators to resolve payment issues
  • Participate in monthly A/R - Bad Debt meetings to discuss collection strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in construction or a job cost environment is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
