LPN - Surgical/Orthopedic Nurse - PRN Tier I

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Orthopedic Surgical Unit on a PRN basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the assessment and planning of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Collect data for analysis by a registered nurse and contribute to the assessment of patients.
- Perform plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care, and may administer medication.
- Document patient care given and assist with the development of the plan of care.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with the RN, physician, patient, and families.
