Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the identification of patients at nutrition risk and assess their nutritional status and needs.
  • Develop, adapt, and coordinate nutrition care plans to optimize nutrition management and promote cost-effective interventions.
  • Educate patients, families, and healthcare providers on nutrition-related topics and provide training to hospital staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate nutrition therapy and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning sessions.
  • Perform quality improvement, research, and outcome studies to identify opportunities for waste reduction, service improvements, and revenue enhancement.
  • Document accurately and completely in the Electronic Health Record.
