Account Manager Role

At Dayton Freight, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to achieve territory revenue goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external customers
  • Stay up-to-date on competitor developments and market trends
  • Safeguard company assets and proprietary data
  • Collaborate with the Service Center team to facilitate information meetings
  • Effectively handle special assignments as directed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or business, or at least 5 years of comparable sales experience
  • Proven sales skills and ability to travel to meet with customers
  • Knowledge of the LTL industry and surrounding geographical market
