About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team in providing holistic care for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), or mental illness.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will conduct ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served, communicate effectively between supervisors, direct care staff members, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding an individual's progress, and provide a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations for to monitor work advancement.

Responsibilities
  • Conducts ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served

  • Provides a tentative schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations for to monitor work advancement
  • Coordinates home visits to meet the requirements of in-home observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis
  • Ensures implementation of the program plan is effective and properly carried out
  • Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings as required
  • Completes monthly and quarterly progress notes
  • Organizes trainings to certify staff and other team members are competent on the implementation of the program plan and/or documentation sheets
  • Provides follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued support of an individual's needs
  • Maintains records to guarantee information is readily available to interested parties
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges
  • BCBA (BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST) LICENSURE
  • Fully licensed in the state of Texas
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
