Industrial Power Solutions Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Power Solutions Specialist to join our team at Generac. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Generac industrial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Generac industrial products
- Work with minimal supervision in occasionally adverse outdoor weather conditions
- Travel extensively throughout the region, with a fleet vehicle provided
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related mechanical experience and completion of Automotive, Construction Equipment, or Electrical/Electronic program
- Knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, connection diagrams, and control systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Marine, Ag, Construction, Automotive technical programs, or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 years of related industrial experience
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for overtime and variable compensation

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear, use hands to manipulate objects or controls, stand and walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Occasional travel, with daily road travel monitored by vehicle GPS
