Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated Water Engineer to join our New England water group. As a key member of our team, you'll support various water, wastewater, and stormwater facility and linear infrastructure projects. With a strong national presence and a long history of technical excellence, HDR offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project engineering and task management
  • Collect, assimilate, and present data in reports, memos, and public forums
  • Conduct various types of field activities, including data collection, surveys, and assessments
  • Produce design calculations and clearly document design decisions in technical reports
  • Produce design plans, specifications, and engineering cost estimates
  • Work independently and plan, organize, and assist groups of medium to large teams of professionals and technicians
  • Assist with complex hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering degree
  • PE licensure
  • Experience working with CAD and GIS software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates who reside in the local New England area are preferred
