Job Summary
The US Secret Service is seeking an Administrative Officer to join our team in the Office of Investigations, Wichita Resident Agency. As an Administrative Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating administrative functions, preparing reports, and advising the Resident Agent in Charge on various matters related to compliance, personnel actions, and investigative cases.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating administrative functions such as financial allocations, management and program analysis, property management, and procurement
Preparing reports and advising the Resident Agent in Charge on compliance, personnel actions, and investigative cases
Communicating effectively to formulate, present, explain, and interpret policies, issues, and procedures to various officials, employees, and outside entities
Requirements
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service
Must obtain and maintain a top-secret Tier 5 clearance
Must submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position
Must submit a financial disclosure report
Qualifications
To be considered qualified for this position, you must meet the following qualification requirements for the respective grade level in which you are applying. You qualify for the GS-11 level if you possess one of the following: one year of specialized experience or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, LL.M., or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
