Patient Experience Liaison

The Patient Experience Liaison at Columbus Oncology and Hematology is the first point of contact for all incoming calls. This role requires exceptional communication skills to professionally interact with both internal and external customers while accurately and efficiently handling call transfers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephones and screen calls to transfer them to the appropriate recipient in a timely manner.
  • Identify emergent calls and route them to the relevant team members.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA and practice-specific compliance guidelines.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of experience in customer service.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Oncology experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications and Electronic Medical Records.
