Foodservice Sales Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated Foodservice Sales Leader to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a group of talented professionals to achieve divisional sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives.
About the Role:
In this role, you will research, develop, and maintain long- and short-range sales plans while coaching and developing your team members in creating effective action planning to achieve annual operating plan (AOP) and company goals. You will direct your team towards high-quality leads, assist them in warming leads and closing deals, and work with them to open new accounts and reduce churn. Additionally, you will submit and administer the annual street sales operating plan and operating budget, reviewing and approving expenses, credits, donations, and contracts, and tracking performance against plan to identify gap closures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives
• Research, develop, and maintain long- and short-range sales plans
• Coach and develop team members in creating effective action planning
• Direct team towards high-quality leads and assist in warming leads and closing deals
• Work with team to open new accounts and reduce churn
• Submit and administer annual street sales operating plan and operating budget
• Review and approve expenses, credits, donations, and contracts
• Track performance against plan and identify gap closures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of foodservice sales experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience
• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities
• Proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and/or education. This role also receives incentive compensation.
