Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist at our facility, you will play a vital role in helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for residents;
  • Developing therapeutic goals in collaboration with residents, their families, and the interdisciplinary team;
  • Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance functional performance;
  • Providing training and education to residents, families, and staff on therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment;
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and treatment plans;
  • Staying current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Master's or Doctorate level degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred. Additionally, you must hold a valid CA Occupational Therapy License.
