Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Staffing Ninja. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance on facility equipment and utility systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment in the plant.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct daily logs and communicate issues effectively to maximize plant efficiency and product quality.
- Assist with maintaining accurate mechanical inventory and parts change-outs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
- Electrical experience is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a cold, wet, and humid environment (35 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Ability to work overtime and/or weekends when required.
- Able to lift/move up to 45 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands/fingers for extended periods (67-100% of the time).
- Must be able to push/pull up to 300 lbs and ascend/descend stairs frequently.
- Able to bend, squat, and kneel as needed.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Food Manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with power train, bearing maintenance, and electrical systems troubleshooting.
