Regional Intermodal Truck Driver

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive for Schneider, a leading transportation company. As a Regional Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000, based on industry standards and regional averages. In addition to competitive pay, you can expect comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) savings plan with company match.
Job DescriptionYour primary responsibility will be to transport freight containers between railyards in IL, IN, MI, OH, and WI. With 90% no-touch freight and 50% drop-and-hook loads, you'll enjoy minimal unloading and reloading duties. You'll also have the opportunity to drive in and out of railyards daily.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and possess at least 3 months of Class A driving experience. Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred, but not required. Additionally, you should live within 100 miles of Gary, IN.
