National Tax Manager

Moss Adams LLP is seeking a highly skilled National Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our National Tax Accounting Methods team, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance to clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with clients and tax team members on tax accounting methods, including income and expense recognition, capitalization, and cost recovery.
- Prepare and review accounting method change requests, and advise on the implications of transactions or changes in entity structures on a company's accounting methods.
- Evaluate accounting method planning opportunities for clients, and assist with the development of project resources.
- Conduct training and draft articles on accounting methods matters for internal and external audiences.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years tax professional experience, with experience in public accounting preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- Familiarity with research software and the ability to work with the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury regulations, and other tax authorities.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues to others and present to large or small groups.
