As a Senior Continuous Improvement Process Engineer, you will be an integral part of a collaborative global team focused on continuous improvement, leveraging a variety of enhancement methodologies to identify and quantify both incremental and transformative cost-saving initiatives. In this capacity, you will lead teams and educate others on various continuous improvement techniques, ensuring that projects deliver defined and measurable savings within the established timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with site teams to implement operational discipline principles, ensuring consistent operations through the application of continuous improvement methodologies as appropriate.
  • Provide expertise in assessing project feasibility and conducting conceptual cost analyses, including evaluating technical risks.
  • Lead technology assessments as necessary and supply relevant data for engineering and capital expenditure development.
  • Educate, mentor, and guide others in the effective application of various continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Act as a technical representative in project meetings, influencing data-driven decisions and ensuring adherence to budgetary and project timelines.
  • Work with teams to plan development initiatives and analyze data to draw actionable conclusions.
  • Oversee project management within your area of responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of continuous improvement experience in a manufacturing setting, specifically within chemical plants.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Lean Six Sigma, Operational Discipline, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and Six Sigma.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and/or international) - with an initial year of 15% or less.
  • Ability to embrace new challenges and foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Proven effectiveness as both a member and leader of cross-functional teams.
  • Strong capability to prioritize tasks and navigate obstacles to fulfill commitments in a dynamic environment.
