Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist Level I at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders under supervision. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, and work closely with physicians and patients to develop treatment schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of communication and swallowing disorders, as well as the ability to administer diagnostic tests and implement individualized treatments.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and treats communication and swallowing disorders for both adult and pediatric populations.
• Administers diagnostic tests and implements individualized treatments.
• Advises physician and patient of disorders and develops treatment schedule.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Implements and maintains department policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship required by date of hire.
• Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology by date of hire.
• Speech-Language Pathologist License (California) required.
• National Provider Identifier required.
• Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate required.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
