Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN to join our team in an acute inpatient setting. As a RN - Acute Care Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing clinical direction and patient-centered care, fostering a collaborative environment and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

About the Role

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized plans of care, and coordinating discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collects data and completes nursing assessments using evidence-based practices and standards.
  • Develops individualized plans of care based on patient needs and prioritizes tasks accordingly.
  • Provides direct care to assigned patients, delegating tasks as needed and ensuring completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintains a safe environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse or successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency from another organization.
  • Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
Work Environment

This role is located at 1333 Taylor St Baptist and reports to a supervisor or manager within the Internal Resource Pool - Licensed Midlands department.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000, depending on experience. Additionally, Prisma Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
