Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Dialysis Care Center. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective training, direct patient care, and delivery of home dialysis therapies to patients in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
- Supervise Patient Care Technicians and ensure adequate patient care management coverage.
- Participate in staff training and orientation of new staff.
- Assess patient and family readiness for home dialysis and patients' home environment for suitability.
- Provide ongoing education to patients regarding home dialysis, vascular access, and related health conditions.
- Communicate patient-related issues to the Clinic Manager or Clinical Area Manager and the patient's physician as needed.
- Report adverse patient events and equipment problems to the Clinic Manager or Clinical Area Manager and physician.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, RN or BSN.
- Current state licensure as a RN.
- Current CPR card.
- Experience in dialysis nursing is preferred.
