We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients undergoing vascular surgery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of peripheral vascular systems for the diagnosis of disease.
- Use independent judgment to select appropriate equipment and adjust controls according to exam specifications.
- Enter test data and patient information into computer of ultrasound equipment to maintain record of test results.
- Produce images of internal structures and record diagnostic data.
- Perform quality control checks and maintain accurate QC logs.
- Utilize the functionality of the Epic system within their job responsibilities.
- Ultrasound Technician Certificate from accredited school.
- CERT BLS
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Physical Demands Requirement: lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull force up to 50 pounds.
- Graduate of AMA approved training program in ultrasonography.
- Registered Vascular Tech.
