About the Role

The Radiation Oncology nurse is an integral part of our team, responsible for patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling, and assisting physicians with exams and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on their treatment plans, medications, and post-treatment care.
  • Physical Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments to identify any potential health concerns.
  • Nutrition Counseling: Provide personalized nutrition advice to support patient recovery.
  • Assisting Physicians: Assist physicians with exams and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A valid Texas Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • 1+ years of Oncology experience (preferred).
