Packaging Specialist

As a Packaging Associate at Electrolux Home Products, Inc., you will be part of the Packaging Department Team that plays a crucial role in producing the finished product of packed parts while adhering to all facility rules and regulations, including safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Reads and compares numbers on work orders to ensure correct parts are being packed.
- Inspect for damages to ensure customers receive quality parts.
- Operate equipment such as computers, tape guns, automatic tape machines, poly baggers, foam & oiler machines to fulfill daily demands.
- Pack replacement parts according to the work order status, using bag/box, packing material, and labels.
- Ensure correct quantity of parts are being produced.
- Ensure work orders are complete and correctly filled out.
- Fill out RTS forms for any parts that need returned to stock.
- Correctly palletize finished product from line to proper skid.
- Maintain daily production sheets to ensure attainment of daily productivity goals.
- Execute daily 5S activities to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner that reflects the principles of Team Ship.
- Escalate any issues that impact our operation to the Team Lead.
- Support EMS activities by completing additional tasks assigned to you by your Team Lead.
- Perform all work, tasks, projects, or duties assigned to you by your Team Lead and/or Supervisor in a timely manner and with an acceptable level of quality.
- Experience or training. Job requires basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Must be able and available to work from 5AM to 12AM (depending on assigned shift), including weekends/over time.
- Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated.
- Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong abilities when utilizing a computer.
- Must wear applicable PPE at all times.
